WASC accreditation

On October 15, 2007, CalArts submitted its Institutional Proposal for Reaffirmation of Accreditation to the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

A Proposal Review Committee, made up of six faculty members and administrators from institutions across the country, accepted CalArts' Institutional Proposal on December 12, 2007.

The Capacity and Preparatory Review will take place in Spring 2010, with the Educational Effectiveness Review following in Fall 2011.
