The CalArts Library offers a incredibly wide range of resources — from books, eBooks, music scores, and sound recordings, to films, periodicals (journals, magazines, newspapers) and more. Many of these physical items are located in the "main stacks" or the shelving you see in the library.
Additionally, CalArts Library has other resources that are kept in Special Collections, Artists' Book Collection, or the Institute Archives. Items in these areas are considered unique and have limited access and do not circulate.
