CalArts Library Exhibitions and Displays

CalArts Library Exhibitions

Exhibitions draw from the Library’s extensive collections, including special collections, artists’ books, image and film collections, and the Institute Archives.

The schedule for exhibitions is decided up to one year in advance. Our exhibitions, specifically, are more expansive and comprehensive explorations of ideas; they are interdisciplinary in nature and engage with the Library’s unique materials and spaces in innovative ways, and they are feasible in terms of budget, space, and available library resources.
