Reverberating Feminisms: Chronologies of Feminist Art Movements at CalArts celebrates feminist creative expression from the CalArts community, across time and discipline. Starting with the Feminist Art Program in the 1970s, the exhibition traces the evolution of feminist voices and showcases unique materials from the CalArts Library and Institute Archives. In dialogue with REDCAT's exhibition, The Feminist Art Program (1970-1975): Cycles of Collectivity, Reverberating Feminisms spotlights the groundbreaking cultural contributions of early 1970s feminist artists while imagining an evolving and intersectional feminist future.
Reverberating Feminisms: Chronologies of Feminist Art Movements at CalArts exhibition and accompanying guides were compiled by the CalArts Library. If you have any questions or suggestions about the exhibition, please contact us at libref@calarts.edu.
