Public Visitors
In order to protect the CalArts community, all guests to campus are asked to register in advance of their visit. Please email libcirc@calarts.edu so the Library may register your visit with Campus Safety.
At the security kiosk, let the guard know you are coming to the Library. After parking, visitors should use the main (Blue Wall) entrance. The Library is one floor down from the main entrance. You may ask for directions to the stairs or elevator at the reception desk.
Public patrons (Alumnx, SCILNET)
Alumnx
CalArts alumnx are eligible to have library borrowing privileges, provided they have paid a one time non-refundable $100 library use fee. Alumnx may access the CalArts Alumnx Application for Library Privileges online and bring the completed form in or request a copy of the form at the library circulation desk. Alumni loan periods are as follows:

SCILNET
Residents of Santa Clarita or students at College of the Canyons or Master’s College may borrow materials on a one-time basis by obtaining a SCILNET (Santa Clarita Inter Library Network) card from a branch of the City of Santa Clarita Public Library or their college library. SCILNET loan periods are as follows:
