Formatting Scores + Parts
Please use the appropriate title page template when preparing and submitting your score(s) and parts. This template should be used and included in both your electronic and hardcopy submissions. If your work features a unique title page which falls outside the standard formatting conventions of the Library’s title page templates, it is fine to include this, but you should also still use and include the Library's title page template as part of your submission, inserting this as the first page of your hardcopy submission and embedding it into the PDF of your electronic submission.
The title page for each score (and each part, if applicable) should include, in the following order:
- Title of work
- Composer
- Instrumentation
- Publisher (if applicable)
- Thesis submission verbiage (see title page templates)
- Year of graduation
Printing Scores + Parts
Please print hardcopies of scores and parts on paper that is at least 25% cotton, 20 lb paper. Hardcopy submissions of scores and parts may be spiral bound, stapled, etc.
