Need help finding a book, researching sources for a paper or project, or just need a little guidance in the library? Our reference services are available to CalArts student, faculty, and staff as well as non-CalArts patrons.
Drop-in research help is not available until COVID-19 Library restrictions are lifted.
You may contact an individual librarian if there is a specific subject area you need assistance with. From 9AM-5PM during the regular semester, you can get immediate assistance from a librarian by clicking on the blue “Questions?” button at the bottom of the library’s web pages. After hours and during summer months, you will be directed to an email queue and a librarian will be in touch shortly.
Research appointment: Did you know there is a CalArts Librarian that specializes in the resources and search strategies specific to each School and métier? If you need in-depth help with your research or want some help getting started, schedule an appointment to meet with a librarian! Virtual consultations available via Zoom for Fall 2020.
