REPRODUCTIONS
Due to the fragility and rarity of materials, Institute Archives and Image Services personnel mediate all duplication requests.
PERMISSIONS and USE
Examining or acquiring copies of materials from the Institute Archives does not convey the right to publish, exhibit, or otherwise reproduce the materials in full or in part. The Archives grants permission and collects a fee for the reproduction and use of text or images for which CalArts is the copyright owner. For materials whose copyright is held elsewhere, the institute archivist can assist users in identifying a copyright owner; however, securing permissions is the responsibility of the user.
Reproduction Policy and Price List
Payment must be received before any copies from our collection will be produced. Reproductions will be delivered within 1-3 weeks. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RUSH ORDERS.
All reproduction and use of archival materials are subject to one-time use only, which means you may publish/exhibit the item(s) one time. Any subsequent or different uses must be applied for and are subject to additional use fees.
CITATION
All approved uses of collection material must include this credit line:
California Institute of the Arts Institute Archives, [Title of archival collection]
The publishing party will supply the Institute Archives with one copy of the publication in which an image, photograph or substantial information from the Institute Archives is cited.
