Register a JSTOR Account

JSTOR digital collections are only accessible to current CalArt students, faculty, and staff while on campus or with registered JSTOR accounts. We cannot provide access to alumni or public users. To register a JSTOR account follow these steps:

When connected to a campus WiFi network:

• Go to the JSTOR homepage
• Click Register at the top right corner of the screen 

When off campus:

• Go to CalArts Library homepage
• Click Find Databases > select JSTOR > click Go
• Login using your MyLibrary Account
• Click Register at the top right corner of the screen

If you have any trouble registering an account, contact Image Services Manager. We can manually register an account for you.

Using JSTOR

Images created for classroom teaching are added to the CalArts Visual Resource Collection which is accessible through our Institutional Collections on JSTOR. Images on JSTOR can be organized into folders/workspaces and used in presentations and instruction.
